A little about me...

Hi, I'm David.

I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in New Haven, Connecticut. Having spent more than two decades behind the camera, traveled to dozens of countries, and had the opportunity to work on all kinds of projects, what I love most about photography is still the same: the chance to discover something interesting, connect with people, and tell a story through an image.

My work spans portraiture, fashion, and both commercial and editorial photography. And while my tastes lean toward clean, timeless imagery, I'm really mostly interested in the personality, atmosphere, or unexpected detail that makes a photograph feel like more than just a picture.

Over the years, I've worked with major brands, small businesses, publications, and individuals, and my work has appeared in magazines and galleries around the world. I also love video and video editing, and occasionally teach photography as well, which is a wonderful excuse to share what I've learned and learn something new myself.

I speak English, Spanish, and French, and I'm always happy to meet new people, hear about an interesting idea, and find any reason to pick up my cameras.
